some one can tell me how residual type excitation is provided through transformers to an AC generator without any battery or PMG&excitor

Residual type excitation is a method of providing excitation to an AC generator without using batteries or PMG (Permanent Magnet Generator). It works by taking advantage of the magnetic flux that remains in the transformer core even after the current has been turned off. This residual magnetism is used to generate the excitation required for the generator.
