How can you explain that the vibration is transmitted from elastic materials or components to another?

Answer Posted / Jimit Kumar

Vibration is transmitted between elastic materials or components due to the presence of mechanical stresses. When an elastic object experiences an external force, it deforms and stores energy in the form of elastic potential energy. This energy causes the object to oscillate or vibrate. If the object comes into contact with another elastic object, it can transfer this energy through direct physical contact or via shear waves in solids (transverse vibrations) or longitudinal waves (compressional vibrations).
