Differentiate between feedback and feedforward control systems?

Feedback control systems measure the output of a process and compare it with a setpoint or desired value, then adjust the inputs to reduce the error. Feedforward control systems anticipate changes in the system by sensing disturbances and adjusting the inputs accordingly without requiring feedback from the output.
