Hi, I have applied the form for US visa. In this form i
applied for a business visit visa(B1/B2). Although when i
went to schedule the interview date the clas type B1/B2
falls under 2 categories(purpose of travel)i.e Business and
Tourist. I cannot manage to get an interview date with
Business but i can through Tourist(B1/B2) class visa. Can i
go ahead an schedule an appointment through this way

While it is possible to schedule an appointment for a B1/B2 visa (which covers both business and tourist travel), the U.S. Consulate will make their decision based on the information provided in your application and during the interview. If they believe that your primary purpose of visit is business, you may still be granted a B1 visa, even if you scheduled under the tourist category.
