Hi,

I am a BCom Graduate from Bangalore University, passed outin
the year 2000. I have had arrears in my subjects while
studying right from 1st, 2nd & 3rd year and few subjects a
single digit marks. Now I have around 11years of IT
experience as IT Manager. Apparently, I have a chance to go
to the USA on H1B Visa(yet to get the letter in hand). Now
my question is will the US consulate reject my stamping just
because I have failed mark sheets though I got it cleared
later? Can someone answer?? Thanks

It's difficult to definitively answer as the decision-making process for visa applications can be complex and varies by case. However, having failing grades in your academic record may raise concerns about your eligibility for an H1B visa. To increase your chances of approval, it would be beneficial to provide a detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding your academic performance and how you've been able to succeed in your IT career despite these challenges. It is also advisable to consult with an immigration attorney or experienced consultant.
