The rules for reapplying for a German visit visa after not using the previously granted visa depend on various factors such as the reason for not traveling, your immigration history, and other personal circumstances. Here are some general guidelines:n
1. Check the expiration date of your previous visa: If your previous visa is still valid, you can apply for a new visit visa following the regular application process. However, if your previous visa has expired, you will need to reapply from scratch.n
2. Provide an explanation: In your application, provide a clear and compelling reason for not traveling during the validity period of your previous visa. Be honest about your reasons, as providing misleading information can lead to denial or future issues with German immigration.n
3. Gather supporting documents: Ensure you have all the necessary documents for your new application, including a valid passport, travel itinerary (if applicable), proof of financial means, and any other documents required by the German embassy in Thailand.n
4. Follow the application process: Apply for the visit visa through the appropriate channels, usually via the online portal or at the German embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.n
5. Wait for a decision: After submitting your application, wait for a response from the German embassy. If approved, make sure to travel during the validity period of your new visa.
