The Lagrange Interpolation Polynomial Scheme is a method for constructing a polynomial that passes through given points in a cartesian plane. In cryptography, this scheme is used as the basis for some secret sharing schemes, such as Shamir's Secret Sharing. The idea is to divide a secret into multiple points on the cartesian plane and recover the secret by interpolating the polynomial.
