Explain Secret splitting protocol?

Answer Posted / Monika Sirohi

Secret Splitting Protocol is a cryptographic method used for distributing and storing secret data in multiple parts, called shares. The main idea is to divide a secret into several parts, or shares, such that the original secret can be reconstructed if enough shares are collected, but individual shares reveal no information about the secret. This protocol provides fault tolerance by allowing reconstruction even when some shares are lost or corrupted. Threshold cryptography is an example of secret splitting protocol.
