What is first echo & echo window in radar type level transmitter?
Answer Posted / Mithun Singh Rana
The First Echo (Fresnel zone) and Echo Window are important concepts in Radar Level Transmitters. The First Echo refers to the distance within which the transmitted signal from the radar returns for the first time, typically due to the nearest object. The Echo Window is the area around the target where the reflected signal can be detected by the radar transmitter. It's crucial to ensure that the tank or vessel wall is located within the First Echo and Echo Window to achieve accurate level measurements.
