What does BRA stands for and when was it formed?

BRA, short for Business Requirements Analysis, is a process used to identify the needs of a business and to determine how those needs can be met by an IT system. The term doesn't have a specific formation date as it emerged from the 1980s along with the rise of information systems in businesses.
