XSL Formatting Objects (XSL-FO) is a part of the XSL standard that allows for formatting and layout operations to be applied on XML documents. It defines a set of objects (such as blocks, inline, tables, etc.) and properties for styling those objects. XSL-FO provides a platform-independent way to describe the visual representation of an XML document.
