To copy test cases from an Excel file (.xls) to Quality Center, follow these steps:
1. Export the test cases from Excel in a format compatible with Quality Center, such as .xml or .csv.
2. Install the Quality Center Test Manager Client (QC Tester).
3. Open QC Tester and connect to your Quality Center instance.
4. Import the exported file into Quality Center using the 'Import' option in the File menu.
