MY QUERY IS REGARDING AS/400. I AM FACING A PROBLEM IN
UPDATING A PF COZ IT IS GETTING LOCKED SO I USED CHAIN(N)
INSTEAD OF ONLY CHAIN.I ALSO TRIED UPDATE(E) ALONG WITH
CHAIN(N),ITS NOT GIVING ANY ERROR BUT AT THE SAME TIME NOT
UPDATING THE PF

When encountering issues with updating a table in AS/400, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot: nn 1. Review the table lock status and identify which user or program has locked it.n 2. Use the WRKOBJLCK command to see if there are any objects locked by the program or user causing issues.n 3. Try using the CHGPFM command with the appropriate options to change the file format or organization of the table.n 4. If possible, isolate the problematic data and re-create the table.n 5. Contact technical support for further assistance if needed.
