To change a password on a router, follow these steps:
1. Connect your computer to the router via an Ethernet cable or wirelessly if the router supports it.
2. Open any web browser and enter the router's IP address (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) into the URL bar.
3. Enter the default username and password for your router (these can be found in the user manual).
4. Navigate to the 'Setup' or ' Administration' section, then look for the 'Password' or 'Security Options' settings.
5. Follow the prompts to create a new password.
