The Gothic Cathedrals, such as Notre-Dame in Paris and Chartres Cathedral in France, are my favorites. These structures exemplify the architectural advancements during the Middle Ages, including pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses that allowed for taller and more open designs. The intricate stained glass windows and ornate sculptures add to their beauty and historical significance.
