In finance, 'bull market' is a term used to describe a market condition in which stock prices are rising. Investors are said to be 'bullish' when they expect prices to go up. On the other hand, a 'bear market' is a condition in which stock prices are falling or are expected to fall. Investors are 'bearish' when they believe that prices will drop.
