What is the basic difference between a cheque and a draft?
Answer Posted / Parul
The basic difference between a cheque and a draft lies in the party drawing it. A cheque is drawn by the drawer on his own bank (known as a banker's cheque when drawn on another bank), while a draft is drawn on a specific drawee, which can be a bank or any other person.
