how will one take the order of fmcg products from one's
distributor, when he has a stock of Rs 2 lakh AND monthly
sales of product is of Rs 25000/-only?
Answer Posted / Rahul Sahai
To place an order for FMCG products with the distributor, first calculate the number of days required to sell the current stock. In this case, the total stock is Rs 2,00,000 and monthly sales are Rs 25,000, so the number of days to deplete the stock would be approximately 80 days (considering no extra expenses or losses). After calculating the number of days, divide that by the number of days in a month to determine how many months it will take to sell the current stock. Based on this information, you can now decide when and how much to order from the distributor.
