how to calculate area of a bar when you are getting weight per
mitre of a tmt bar for calculating ps of that bar ?
Answer Posted / Nilsh Maurya
To calculate the area of a TMT (Thin Mild Steel) bar, you can use its weight and density. First, find the weight per meter (or another appropriate unit) of the bar. Then, divide this value by the density of steel to get the cross-sectional area. The density of steel is approximately 7850 kg/m^3.
