In CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), there are two main types of Walsh codes: Long and Short.
1. Long Walsh Codes:n - There are 64 long Walsh codes, each consisting of 64 orthogonal binary sequences.n - They are used for spreading the user data in CDMA systems.
2. Short Walsh Codes:n - There are 16 short Walsh codes, each consisting of 15 orthogonal binary sequences.n - They are used for spreading pilot signals in CDMA systems.
