what is the VA(Volt-amphere)? define with calculation?
Answer Posted / Praveen Kumar Saini
Electrical Engineering: Volt-ampere (VA) is a unit used in electrical engineering to express the product of voltage and current in an AC circuit. It's a measure of apparent power, but real power (Watts) must be determined by multiplying VA by the power factor. For example, if a circuit has a voltage of 100 V and a current of 2 A, the VA is 100 * 2 = 200 VA.
