what is a speed of rotor when we give supply to stator of 50hz and as well as rotor of 60hz of an induction motor?????

Answer Posted / Vijendra Sharma

The synchronous speed (N_s) of an induction motor can be calculated using the formula N_s = (120f) / P where f is the frequency in Hertz and P is the number of pole pairs. Given a stator frequency of 50Hz and a rotor frequency of 60Hz, it suggests that the motor has an uneven speed due to the difference in frequencies. However, under normal operation, the slip (s) would cause the rotor to run at a speed less than the synchronous speed. The exact speed would depend on the specific design and operating conditions of the motor.

A 15 kw squirrel cage motor having a maximum efficiency of 90% on a continuous full load has temperature rise of 42 degrees celcius after 30 min and 52 degrees celcius after 1 hr under the above operation conditions. a) calculate its final steady state temperature rise on continuous load and the heating time constatnt. b) if the motor is operated on a short load for 9 min estimate its temperature rise. c) calculate the maximum overload that can be applied on a short, 9 min rating so that the temperature rise is the same as the final steady state temperature rise on continuous load.

1. for eg, capacitor is used for many purposes(it act as filter, oscillator, bypass capacitor, memory storage etc...) 2. Please tell me some example circuits for different uses of capacitor( whenever and whereever and however we used capacitor as a filter, oscillator tuning etc..) 3. similarly for inductor and resistors(it act as what?) and when and how we want to act as like that?, and how we can used these components depends upon our requirments with example circuits and explanation? design to act as these components depends
