Why we specify TNC switch with 1NO 1NC ,2NO 2NC ? how we get connection.?

Answer Posted / Sandeep Kumar Yadav

TNC (Touch-N-Connect) switches are specified with various combinations of Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts to allow for different wiring configurations. The NO contacts are open in their normal state, while NC contacts are closed. For example, a 1NO 1NC switch has one normally open contact that closes when the switch is operated, and another normally closed contact that opens when the switch is operated. To establish a connection between two devices using a TNC switch, you would typically wire one device to the NO terminal of the switch and the other device to the NC terminal.
