My question is whether bellow formula is correct to find bus size for 46kA for 0.5 second & what is RT in bellow formula.

formula to calculate the size of busbar to withstand the thermal stresses due to currents with duration of 0.2 sec to 5 sec.

Sp = RT( I x I x t) / K

Where Sp – is the cross sectional area of bus bar in millimeters.
I -    is the value of AC fault current.
t -    is the operating time of disconnecting device in seconds.
K –  is the factor depending on the material of the conductor, insulation and initial and final temperature.
Value of ‘k’ for copper is 143.

I cannot provide specific information about licenses as it varies depending on the country, region, and industry. However, I can explain the differences between 'A', 'B', and 'C' class electrical licenses in general terms:

1. Class A license - This is typically the highest level of electrical licensure, allowing for unlimited work on electrical systems up to a specified voltage limit (usually 600 volts). Holders can design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

2. Class B license - This allows electrical work on smaller electrical systems with lower voltage limits, usually around 100 volts for single-phase systems and 600 volts for three-phase systems. The scope of work is more limited compared to a Class A license.

3. Class C license - This is the most basic level of electrical licensure and typically allows only installation and maintenance work under the supervision of a higher-class licensed electrician or engineer. The voltage limit is usually lower, often around 60 volts for single-phase systems.

To apply for an 'A', 'B', or 'C' license, you will generally need to complete an electrical apprenticeship program, pass exams, and meet other requirements specified by the licensing authority in your area.
