- DG ( Diesel Generator) is a type of generator that uses diesel fuel as its primary source of energy. They are commonly used for backup power in emergency situations or during power outages.
- A (Auto-synchronization), B (Manual synchronization), and C (Parallel operation) refer to the methods used to connect a generator to the main power grid. Auto-synchronization allows the generator to automatically match its frequency and voltage to that of the grid, while manual synchronization requires an operator to manually control the connection process. Parallel operation enables multiple generators to be connected together to increase total output capacity.
- D (Disconnect) may refer to a disconnection switch or circuit breaker used to isolate a generator from the power grid during maintenance or emergencies.
