Cleaning a parallel flow heat exchanger with high viscosity oil can be challenging. Here's a suggested method: 1. Drain the oil from the cooler. 2. Disassemble the cooler to access the tubes. 3. Use a suitable solvent or cleaning agent that can handle the high viscosity oil. 4. Clean each tube individually, paying special attention to any areas where impurities may have accumulated. 5. Rinse thoroughly with clean oil or water. 6. Reassemble the cooler and refill with fresh oil. Regarding your second question, impurities can decrease during operation as they are filtered out or settle at the bottom of the tank. However, during cleaning, they may be disturbed and need to be removed manually.
