The center of gravity (CG) of a transformer can be calculated using the following steps: 1. Determine the weight and position of each component (e.g., core, windings, tank) relative to the transformer's base. 2. Calculate the CG for each component separately using the formula: (sum of weights * sum of distances from CG of component to CG of the entire system) / sum of weights. 3. Sum the individual CGs to find the overall center of gravity of the transformer.
