The given formula seems to be calculating the efficiency of a diesel generator set in percent, but there are some discrepancies. A corrected version could be: Efficiency (%) = (kWh * 3410) / (Fuel consumption in ltrs * 0.87 * specific gravity of fuel * 2.2 * net power output in kW).
