Shuttering is used in reinforced concrete slabs to form and support the wet concrete during curing. The process involves creating a mold or formwork using shuttering materials, which can be made of wood, steel, or other materials. After pouring the concrete, the shuttering is removed once the concrete has achieved sufficient strength.
