1. PCC 1:4:8 for 1 cum: Cement = 1 cubic meter, Sand (fine) = 4 times the volume of cement, Aggregate (coarse) = 8 times the volume of cement.
2. Brickwork 1:4 for 1 cum: Number of bricks required can be calculated by dividing the volume of bricks needed by the volume of one brick. Assuming a standard clay brick with dimensions 230 mm x 115 mm x 100 mm, the volume is approximately 0.00026 cubic meters per brick.
3. Plastering 1:4 (15mm thick) for 100 sqm: Cement = 100 sqm / (15 mm * 15 mm * 8), Sand (fine) = 4 times the cement volume, Aggregate (coarse) = 8 times the cement volume.
4. RCC 1:4:8 and reinforcing steel: The weight of the steel can be calculated using the formula W = L * I * t * ρ, where L is the length, I is the cross-sectional area (assuming a rectangular cross-section), t is the thickness of the steel, and ρ is the density of the steel (7.85 g/cm^3 for structural steel). The actual length can be calculated by considering the bending and taking into account the radius of curvature.
