As per IS 456 (2009), the maximum height of concrete pour for reinforced concrete structures is limited to 3 m. For heights exceeding this limit, continuous or intermediate shuttering should be provided for every 3 m or for heights up to 9 m, and for greater heights, perforated shutters should be used.
