1. Verify that the wall can support the weight of the testing equipment.
2. Check that the surface of the wall is smooth and free from any defects that could affect the results.
3. Test the wall's resistance to impact by dropping a standard weight onto it.
4. Measure the wall's ability to absorb sound.
5. Assess the wall's ability to withstand water penetration.
