You can concatenate strings in Perl by using the `.` operator or by using the `join()` function. For example: `$str1 = 'Hello, '; $str2 = 'World!'; $concatenated_string = $str1 . $str2; # or $concatenated_string = join('', $str1, $str2);`

There is no strict data types in perl unlike in other high level languages like Java so wouldn't that be a problem if a code in perl is to be a written by a big team of 20+ members ?"
