Me - Hi sir how you doing? ( greetings is important)
Intw - Good.

Me- what kind of phone u r looking for? (important question to know is he really a customer or not - if he say particularly a model or brand than he is potential - if he say anything else he is open option)
In - Don't know ( open option, generally interviewers say that)

Me - May I know which mobile you are using right now? ( identify need & analysis)
In - Samsung duos. ( an old model - means he use it for calling and doesn't use internet much)

Me - alright, I guess you don't use internet much?
In - yes/no (bamm - if he yes than u use smartphone features to sell as he is tech driven, - if no than you sell belongingness features, society features, security and other aspects rather than just technological features, which is kind of hard - in my case i take No)

Me - Well! if you allow me, i want you to held this phone in your hand. Now tell me how do you feel now?
Me - don't you feel more powerful, a bit of stylish and attractive.
In - yes, but i am not looking for this kind of phone.
Me - its alright sir, i am not selling you a phone i am selling you the experience. you can get calling and internet features in any phone, but I don't want you to have just a phone but a personality, you must feel rich every time you take out this phone from your pocket. and this phone right here is build to provide that.

In - ok, what are its features? or price? ( he himself ask for features & price - means you have converted a normal clients to a potential client)

After this its just piece of cake as you know how to connect features with requirements.
and close the deal.

First round was HR round. The questions asked were: Tell me about yourself? Where were u born and brought up? I'l give u a sentence like a "walk in the park" or "walk in the vegetable market". Now frame a short story around it. Next was aptitude round, where 1 logical question such as "A works not in mangalore, not in mysore. B works in Mysore and not in mangalore, not in bangalore. C works in Mangalore. Then where does A work?" The rest were simple english questions and a passage was given and some questions asked from it. Next was technical round. The questions asked were: What is an IP address? What are the different types of networks(A,B,C,D,E) Can u tell me the address range of A,B,C,D,E networks? Why do we use these different networks? What is static Ip address? What is Dynamic IP address? How do we find out the IP address from your computer? What is the use of DNS? Next was OPS round. The questions asked were: Tell me more about yourself. What are ur expectations from the job? Describe success in terms of job? What is ur ideal job? Are u comfortable to work in night shifts? Sometimes a person younger to u might be in a better position. Are u comfortable taking directions from him? What is ur expected salary? If the software sector booms, Would u change ur job?
