what happens when you connect a.c and d.c
supplies

Answer Posted / vijay

when you connect a supply of 220 V AC/DC to a battery of 20 V DC the first thing that there would a big flash and battery will blast, if the 220 V side as reliable fuse / breaker it will trip. Now if it is AC then the effect would be more severe because the electro chemistry of the battery is subjected to reversal at a very fast rate.
