formula to calculate the cutting length =2(L+B) +20d - 5d.
=2(220+520) +20*8 -5*8
=1480+160-40
=1600mm

As in practice, we are deducting every 2d for 90 degree bend but from where it comes means derivation or reference of IS Code.
