why the rating of transformer in only KVA not in others?
Answer Posted / vikram chandorkar
as we know that every electrical machine is having losses..transformer is having two kind of losses i.e core loss which generally depends on voltage and other is copper losses (i.e I2R losses)which depends on current.hence transformer rating is given in kVA
