tally versions are :-
tally 4.5 relates to DOS
5.4 relates to graphical interface
6.3 relates to windows up to windows 7 n given VAT facility
7.2 version gives different VAT(value added tax) options
8.1 to work on payroll a/c
9 version gives fringe benefits, payroll, TDS(tax deducted source)
tally ERP 9 it is the advanced version having more features like updated sources, payroll, TDS, VAT, etc... ERP(enterprise resource planning)

outstanding expenses are the expenses that "unpaid"at the end of the accounting period e.g.salaries rent so they all come to under nominal accounts which is debt all expenses and losses and credit all gains since they are unpaid hence they must be credited
