What is the difference between compression level 0 1nd 9

Compression level 0 indicates no compression and 9 indicates the highest level of compression. From ASE 15.x two more compression levels 100 and 101 are added. Compression level 100 provides faster compression where as the compression level 101 indicates better compression. 100 and 101 will not create much load on CPU.
