What is the difference between SRS, BRD and FRD? Please
explain in detail.

BRD:
Who:
Who performs this will vary depending on the size of your team.
Who provides the inputs will be the client or SME.
What it contains:
It contains the business requiremnts. It should also contact a high workflow of how it is done now and what it will look like with the new process. Adding the business rules associated with this new process. Add the functional and nonfunctional requiremnts to this document as well. Include all regulating guidelines like HIPAA under the nonfunctional.
These Freq and Nreq should easily be translated to user stories and use cases. A tracebility matrix should be stated at this point.
SRS:
The document should include the Freq and Nreq from the BRD. This should how the system will work. Visio can be used again to flow this out. It may include the UI and UX of the system.
This document will be used by the coders and the initial UAT will be developed from this document also.
The purpose of the SRS is not to provide the coders with the way forward but merely the destination. It is up to the coders and the dev team to discern how to get there.
