A. Main steel Parallel to short side
L = longitudinal length ( short side ) - cover on both the sides + bent on both the sides ( if shown in drg ).
B) Distribution steel parallel to long side
L = transverse length ( long side ) - cover on both the sides + bent on both the sides ( if shown in drg ).
