IP is different from IPS. The former is a standard for the protecting capability of the casing or housing of a certain equipment..i.e. a JB has an IP 65 meaning protected from dust..etc. while the latter is protection system of the whole network of instruments. It is a DCS-based.

A DP transmitter is used to measure the level of an open tank. The drain line of the tank is connected to a control valve, and is configured as, if the level of the tank is 90% the valve should get open 10%.
