The main responsibility of HR during recession is
1) To avoid panic situation.
2) Conduct meetings and explain them that due to this recession termination will not occur.
3) Take necessary steps to retain key resources.
4) If recession is during appraisal time definitely company will not provide any increment therefore this information has to be sent to employees in an understandable way.
5) HR expenses should be minimized by various steps.

Hi , I am a graduated in science at the year of 2006 & have started my professional career from that year as an HR personnel and still working. I have also got a bit of sales experiences in between this. Currently I am doing PGD in HRM from ICFAI & has done a Management Development Programme from IIM(Indian Institute of Management).
