to calculate the volume of any bag we need to know the density. In freshly packed bags the standard density is 1440 kg/m3.
Example: to know the volume of a 50kg cement bag we divide the bag weight by the density, i.e.:
50 kg ÷ 1440 kg/m3 = 0.0347 m3
50kg = 0.0347 m3,
50kg = 1.23 CFT
