What are the GPC and the GPT? Where can I find them?
Answer Posted / subhash singh
GPOs (Group policy object ) store group policy setting in two location : A group policy container (GPC) and Group policy templates (GPT).
The GPC is an active directory object that store version information, status information and other policy information (for example, application objects).
The GPT is used for file based data and stores software policy, scripts and deployment information. The GPT is located on the system volume (SysVol) folder of the domain controller.
