kick off meeting is a initial meeting conducted by a software company soon after signing off. in order to discuss the overview of the project and select a suitable project manager for this project.
generally Project manager,Technical manager, developer lead, Quality assurance team, board of directors, and sometimes clients representative will involve in this meeting.
