VCB is used for switching of Transformer. Over current, Short Circuit and Earth fault protection also incorporated in VCB to protect your valueable transformer. During swiching of ON and OFF its contacts make and break in under Vaccum Bottles to protect from heavy spark during fault and on load tripping.
