explain call flow in gsm???
Answer Posted / rohit
When we press Call button in cellular device (green button) then mobile unit is connected to BTS . BTS use circuit switching random access technique o grant the access and forward the information about originate the call to MSC. In mean time MSC will check the required mobile power and billing scenarios by using SACCH (slow associated control channel). after checking all the required credentials MSC transfer the call o PSTN then they allocate a physical channel to the mobile unit.
and in case o receiving call BTS will send a IMSI paging signal to all substations .
