Undercooling is same as supercooling.
The liquid is cooled below its freezing point without solidification.
But how is this possible?
Ans : Just imagine icecube tray. What happens if u remove the tray premeturely? U can observe small ice flakes floating on water. Take a spoon and stir it and note temperature. You can see that the temperature of the ice water is still below the freezing point but it is still in liquid form.
