Suppose Transmiter is calibrated at -100 to + 100.
Determining it's LRV =. -100 And. URV. =. +100
Thus in above case :
Range is -100 to + 100
Span is 200
Because,
Span is the gap between LRV and URV
That'swhy (+100) - (-100) = 200 become a Span
